My name is Mark Gilbert, I started mole catching many years ago whilst working on my local country estate taking 
care of the lawns. The head gardener was my first teacher in the art of mole catching, but results were very hit and miss but being young and enthusiastic I got hooked on moles, not just the catching, but everything about them. They started to fascinate me, I would read books, watch programmes and learn from experience. Everything I could learn about this interesting little creature, how it lived, ate, slept, why it did this, or that, and built up an understanding of a moles life.
I now cover Surrey and the West Sussex areas as a Professional Molecatcher, using traditional humane methods with the welfare of the mole always at heart. I am an accredited member of the Guild of British Molecatchers and the British Traditional Molecatcher s. I cover all types of land including; gardens, paddocks, local council property, farm land, sports ground, churches and cemeteries, parish councils etc. I do only use traditional humane methods, that are totally safe to non target spieces and pets, and again always for the most efficient humane method to the mole.
